March showed a surprising increase in real estate sales in Wellesley MA. The increase in volume was significant:20 homes sold compared with 7 in February which brought the absorption rate down to 9.7 
months compared with the 23.3 month absorption rate of February.
The Massachusetts Board of Realtors reported that the number of homes put under contract in March was up 27% compared with March of 2009. These positive trends are good news Wellesley real estate as well as Massachusetts real estate in general. March showed the highest dollar amount of real estate sales Wellesley MA this year.
